Four Splendid Seasons in TorstilaThe Torstila manor is surrounded by pristine nature: you will arrive through a dense, fairy tale kind of forest, until you discover the vast, golden oat fields floating in the summer breeze around the manor. Just a stone throw away the lake Valvatus with magical, green bays and untouched shores invites you for a refreshing dip or a relaxing fishing trip. The forests of Torstila offer a true nature retreat: green silence.

Torstila is located a few kilometers away from Joroinen, which is a pitoresque Finnish village "in the middle of nowhere", yet with all services you need. In the Summer Joroinen hosts some world class music concerts and is the home of Finnish Triathlon, with its traditional half distance race in July. The village is located about 300 km north of Helsinki, which means we have beautiful warm Summers with white nights and harsh Winters with plenty of snow. Shifting seasons, Spring and Autumn, offer a magical spectrum of vibes for all your senses.
