Have you ever felt the the crispy January snow under your feet or the rejuvenating sparkles of spring on your cheeks? ​The stunning four seasons in Finland offer a spectrum of lights, emotions, sounds and vibes that inspire us and our bees to produce a uniquely sophisticated honey – a delicate sweetness incomparable to any other. 

​The Torstila Honey is a result of offering bees a super clean and natural habitat and leaving out all harmful treatments and processing of honey. It's produced in the middle of the most beautiful Nordic countryside, with clean, fresh air all around. In between forest and organic fields our bees will find plenty of natural and grown flowers to collect mead, with very little risk of being contaminated by pesticides, glyfosate or other substances used in conventional farming.  To ensure that all natural probiotics, enzymes amino acids and vitamines are preserved, we never heat our honey. 

Why care about bees?

Our planet’s ecosystem is highly dependent on bees. A large share of all crops, vegetables, fruits and berries that people and animals on planet earth eat are pollinated by bees. Widespread use of pesticide in conventional agriculture is one of the reasons, among others, bees’ habitat is increasingly disappearing.
Our mission is to enhance bees’ living conditions though a win-win cooperation between bees and modern farming. The quality of many fruits, berries, rapeseed and vegetables is significantly better when pollination happens naturally by bees. And bees, on their side, need vast varieties of flowers farmed without pesticides in order to do their work to keep the ecosystem running.
